TirelessRivers.org is forming as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in Tennessee. Our focus is the rivers and lakes of East Tennessee, where discarded tires and other trash pose ongoing environmental and recreational hazards.
How We Work
- Crowdsource Locations – Anyone can report a tire or trash site by contacting us with the GPS coordinates.
- Volunteer Claims – Volunteers claim sites and remove the debris within two weeks.
- Boat Retrieval – For larger or harder-to-reach sites, our organization will operate a boat dedicated to retrieval in East Tennessee.
We are building the tools, the volunteer network, and the operational capacity to make a measurable difference in the health of our waterways.
